$117 million to support Montréal's climate plan

The Minister of the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change, Benoit Charette, announced this morning at a press conference funding of $117 million to support the climate plan of the City of Montreal.
This funding will enable the decarbonization of part of Montreal’s building stock, the implementation of measures to adapt to climate change such as the planting of trees and new green spaces as well as the installation 800 electric charging stations.
This announcement is part of a $7.7 billion plan to fight climate change.
