A bar owner strangled by her headscarf
Police intervention.
Unconscious, the owner of a bar in Montreal North was transported to the hospital after being strangled by her scarf which got stuck in a freight elevator. The incident occurred around 9:10 a.m. Tuesday morning in a business on Léger Boulevard in Montreal North while the owner was transporting cases of alcohol.
The Standards, Equity, occupational health and safety (CNESST) took charge of the file since it is considered a work accident.
