A man dies crushed between a truck and a wall in Vanier

A man lost his life late Wednesday evening in Quebec city after being found wedged between a truck and the wall of a commercial establishment in the sector of Vanier.
The Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ) reports that authorities were alerted to 22h10 by information transmitted to the central telephone emergency 911.
On their arrival at the place of the incident, at the intersection of the avenue Godin and rue Nolin, firefighters have carried out manoeuvres with the 59 year old man, who was unconscious. He was then taken care of by the paramedics and transported to a hospital where his death was recorded.
The SPVQ reports that the circumstances of the event suggest that there would be no impact criminal. An investigation should be opened by the Committee on standards, equity, health and safety in the workplace (CNESST).
The forensic identification unit and investigators of the module of the major crimes of the SPVQ are still moved on the scene to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy.
