A man injured by gunshot in Lachine

A man was shot and injured on Sunday morning around 4 a.m. in the borough of Lachine.
The victim, aged 36 years, was hit in the upper body by projectiles from a firearm, said Raphaël Bergeron, public relations officer with the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The man was found in an alley, near 240 rue Saint-Jacques, following calls to 911.
The victim, rushed to hospital, is in “critical but stable condition” , according to the police.
For the moment, no suspect has been arrested. Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances of the gun attack.
