TORONTO — Alanis Morissette is preparing to tour the us next year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his landmark album, “Jagged Little Pill”, released in 1995.

The presale for the tour will begin on 10 December and the general sale on the 13th.

Rockers american Garbage will be the special guest of this tour, with a participation of Us-Liz Phair.

The promoter Live Nation announces that the singer-songwriter, born in Ottawa, will begin his tour 31 dates June 2, 2020 in Portland, Oregon, which will end on July 25 in Nashville, Tennessee. Canadian exclusive announced : Toronto, on 11 July.

Alanis Morissette will be releasing a new album just before this tour, the 1st of may: Such Pretty Forks in the Road. The first excerpt, Reasons I Drink, is already out.

Jagged Little Pill, released on 13 June 1995, had then won several Grammy awards in the United States, including one for album of the year. The disk, which includes You Oughta Know, has also inspired a musical that was released last month on Broadway.
