“Body Politics” is presented to Massimadi

Massimadi is back for a 14th edition which takes place online and for free until March 11th. We took a look at the programming of the LGBTQ+ afro film and art festival, and we strongly recommend Body Politics, the magnificent portrait of politician Jill Andrew.

Directed by her partner, Aisha Fairclough, the short documentary traces the journey and struggles of Dr. Jill Andrew, the first queer black person elected to the Ontario Parliament, for bodily justice, human rights, representation, access and equity.
