Changes in effect today
Further easing of sanitary measures come into force on Monday, just in time for Valentine's Day. In particular, gyms and spas can reopen their doors.
“The relaxations announced today will be good for morale. We are all aware that Quebecers are fed up,” Premier François Legault announced in a press release.
“The efforts of the past few weeks have yielded results, and although the situation in our hospitals remains fragile, the daily data are encouraging,” he added.
New flexibilities
Gyms, spas, indoor golf facilities as well as climbing centers are now open. Their capacity is however limited to 50%. The wearing of the mask as well as the vaccine passport are of course compulsory.
Extracurricular activities at the college and university levels also resume on Monday. Those of vocational training and adult education included.
In addition, the camps will hold their activities during the spring break.
