Andréanne Beaudry La Tribune Closed Monday to Friday and open only on weekends. Customers from various Sherbrooke branches of the Tim Hortons franchise have been running into closed doors for several days.
Some branches currently offer restricted opening hours while others are closed temporarily for an indefinite period.
For the owner of a few Tim Hortons located in Sherbrooke and the surrounding area, Denis Bourque, several factors can explain this situation, including the lack of personnel.
“I see that it's a bit difficult to have employees,” he emphasizes when contacted by La Tribune .
The 1680 King Street East branch is closed for renovations. Theoretically, it should reopen towards the end of the week, assures Denis Bourque.
The Tim Hortons in the Lacs district in St-Denis-de-Brompton and the one opposite the Carrefour de l'Estrie are temporarily closed.

The branches on chemin St-Élie and the one on rue King Ouest, near the old Costco, are open Saturdays and Sundays only. A large sign placed in front of the restaurant front announces their closure from Monday to Friday.
“These are temporary closures that we want,” says the owner of many Tim Hortons in the area with hope.
