Closure of a service ramp to Highway 520 for one week

Major work will take place this weekend.

The ramp connecting Hickmore Street to Highway 520 East will be completely closed to automobile traffic from May 23 to 29 to carry out piling work. The Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility specifies that this work is necessary for the reconstruction of the overpasses of Highway 520 over Hickmore Street.

Specifically, the ramp will be closed from 5:00 a.m. on May 23 until 11:00 p.m. on May 29. It will remain accessible only from Moisson Montreal to carry out supply and delivery operations. However, the entrance ramp from Merizzi Street will be open to ease the impact of the work on traffic.

A free shuttle service will be offered daily to pedestrians or cyclists wishing to cross the freeway at Hickmore Street. The authorities specify that other closures will take place subsequently to carry out the work.

Several other construction sites will take place during the weekend of National Patriots Day, in particular on the Saint-Pierre interchange with the total closure of Highway 20 westbound in the interchange from 12:30 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.
