Andréanne Beaudry La Tribune The Sherbrooke Fire Protection Service (SPIS) quickly brought under control a cooking fire at 350, rue Brooks, in Sherbrooke on Saturday before 5:30 p.m.

According to the SPIS chief of operations, 15 people were evacuated and no need for rescue was necessary. No one was injured in this event.

The fire originated in the basement of a four-storey residential building of approximately eight units. The losses are valued at around $ 5,000.
