COVID-19: a further increase in hospitalizations
While the government’s daily reports showed a downward trend, hospitalizations are on the rise again with 41 new hospitalizations, for a total of 1,043 people hospitalized in the Quebec.
As for admissions to intensive care, Quebec reports a decrease of two people, for a total of 46 people currently admitted to these units.
Quebec also deplores seven new deaths. The human toll from the COVID-19 pandemic has now reached 14 272 deaths in the province.
As for new infections, 1383 new cases are reported in the province. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
