COVID-19: less than 50 intensive care hospitalizations in Quebec
New government figures show a decrease of five people in intensive care, for a total of 45 people currently hospitalized in these units in Quebec. Quebec thus falls below the symbolic bar of 50 patients in intensive care.
As for hospitalizations in regular COVID-19 beds, Quebec recorded a decrease of thirteen patients in hospitals in the province, for a total of 1021 hospitalizations.
Quebec deplores 13 new deaths. The human toll from the COVID-19 pandemic has now reached 14,245 deaths in the province.
As for new infections, there are 1,170 new cases reported in the province. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
