COVID-19: more than twenty deaths in the last 24 hours
The new government toll reports 23 deaths. The human toll of the COVID-19 pandemic has now reached 15,697 deaths in Quebec.
A decrease of six people in intensive care is also reported, for a total of 38 patients admitted to these units. As for general hospitalizations, the province recorded an increase of 54 people, for a total of 1,663 people currently bedridden in hospitals.
As for new infections, there are 2,076 new cases. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
In the health network, 6659 workers are still absent for reasons related to COVID-19.
