COVID-19: slight increase in hospitalizations
New government figures show an increase of 13 hospitalizations, for a total of 1,002 people currently hospitalized in Quebec hospitals.
The same goes for admissions to intensive care, while Quebec recorded an increase of three patients, for a total of 48 patients in intensive care.
Quebec also deplores five new deaths. The human toll from the COVID-19 pandemic has now reached 14,265 deaths in the province.
As for new infections, there are 907 new cases reported in the province. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
