COVID-19: numbers still encouraging

With a further decrease in hospitalizations for both regular beds and intensive care, the figures are encouraging in Quebec.

There are 1,611 hospitalizations related to COVID-19 in the province's latest report. This represents a decrease of 11 compared to the previous day (64 new admissions, 75 new discharges).

A decrease is also observed in intensive care, where there are 51 people (4 new admissions, 8 new releases). That’s four fewer people than the day before.

New cases are also slowing down. We report 457 on Monday.

However, we deplore the death of five Quebecers, for a total of 15,284 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
