COVID-19: the rise continues in Quebec
The government's daily report shows an increase in hospitalizations due to COVID-19 across the province.
Quebec is recording 38 more hospitalizations today, for a total of 1,238 people hospitalized. As for intensive care, an increase of six people is reported, for a total of 66 people currently admitted to these units.
Quebec also deplores twelve new deaths. The human toll from the COVID-19 pandemic has now reached 14,365 deaths in the province.
As for new infections, there are 3,319 new cases reported in the province. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.

Quebec officially in 6th wave
Quebec has officially entered the 6th wave according to the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec ( INSPQ). Santé Québec confirmed the news on its Twitter account. According to the tweet, no new health measures are being considered at this time.
