Denis Villeneuve nominated for the Golden Globes for “Dune”

Denis Villeneuve's Dune ranks well among the films nominated for the next Golden Globes gala. It is notably cited in the category of Best Dramatic Film.

The Quebec filmmaker is also personally nominated for the production of Dune , an adaptation of Frank Herbert's science fiction novel .

None of the actors in the mega-production, including Thimothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac, are however included in the performance categories.

The Power of the Dog named seven times

The Quebec co-production The Power of the Dog also stands out with its seven nominations. Jane Campion's feature film produced by Roger Frappier is competing in the Best Dramatic, Best Direction and Best Screenplay categories, among others.

Actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Kirsten Dunst are also nominated for their performances in this film. .

The Power of the Dog and Belfast are the most cited films at the Golden Globes. As for the series, the productions Succession , Ted Lasso and The Morning Show are at the top of the nominations.
