Earthquake strikes north of Montreal

An earthquake hits north of Montreal

A magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded at 9:23 p.m. Monday evening, north of Montreal.

According to the Institute of Geological Studies of United States, the epicenter of the earthquake was 5 kilometers northeast of Bois-des-Fillions.

No damage has been reported so far, in Montreal or more near the epicenter.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 9.8 km.

It was the 36th earthquake recorded by the Institute in during the day of November 14.
