Ex-academician Corneliu accused of drugging two people

Singer Corneliu Montano, known for his participation in the second season of Star Académie, is appearing this afternoon at the Montreal courthouse on two counts of drug administration.

The alleged facts date from a few years ago, but the investigation was only launched in November 2022. The first event would have occurred in August 2013 and the second in June 2016, both in Montreal, on two different people – ex-spouses, according to Radio-Canada. Corneliu, 39, was the subject of an arrest warrant last November with a promise to appear.  

Recall that in 2018, Corneliu Montano had had trouble with the justice following a shoplifting in a Laval Canadian Tire. The procedures had however been stopped and the artist was cleared.
