A former Loto-Québec employee accused of fraud

Martin Raymond embezzled approximately $22,000 from 30 different accounts.

Ex-Loto-Quebec employee Martin Raymond is sentenced to a 12-month suspended prison sentence to be served in the company after being found guilty of fraud, breach of trust and fraudulently obtaining employment services; computer.

Mr. Raymond used his privileged position within the Crown corporation to embezzle approximately $22,000 for personal use from 30 different client accounts on the Loto-Québec website.

The Commissioner for the Fight against Corruption is a specialized police force whose mission is to ensure, for the State, the coordination of actions to prevent and fight against corruption in the public sector . To do this, it directs and coordinates the investigation and verification teams appointed by the government which form the Permanent Anti-Corruption Unit (UPAC).

UPAC insists on the great vigilance and collaboration of Loto-Québec as part of this investigation.
