With his dynamic presence and friendly tone, Félix-Antoine Tremblay has a busy schedule. In addition to OD Fridays, the Mammoth Evening and Zénith, will soon be at the helm of the show Des idées de grandeur, which is making its grand return to Canal Vie for a 10th season.

Ideas of grandeur, a show for renovation fanatics previously hosted by Isabelle Racicot, ended in 2016. It comes back with the same concept: two designers offer their respective vision for a room in the participants' house, who must choose their favorite option . What is your best personal renovation project of 2022?
“I'm in a condo and, in my bedroom, I had a very standard wardrobe with two small doors accordion. I had it transformed into a walk-inopen concept. I'm very proud of it, because it was me who designed it, since it wasn't too complicated a project and I knew my space well. It was done recently, so right now, I'm tripping over all my laundry that has its place. I see my things and it makes me want to fold my clothes neatly, like in the stores.
What makes you nod in life?
“What annoys me is the impatience and intolerance of humans.”
In 2023, what are we demolishing? ?
“Homophobia, that’s for sure. Also, I don't want to disrespect anyone, everyone is entitled to their own tastes, but I think you can tear down anything decorative with deer heads. I think we've done the trick!”
What tools have you acquired this year?
“This year, I did a first show where I was the main host and where I had to work with collaborators. Generally, I am the collaborator and lead by a facilitator. So I learned a lot.
In terms of manual work, having made Ideas of grandeur, having seen projects and done renovations, I learned that there are some things I would be able to do with my hands, more than I thought.

“My life is about getting out of my comfort zone and taking on new challenges. Just getting up in the morning is accomplishing a little challenge. I want it to continue to go to that area, to be surprised, to go to places I've never been. I like to be destabilized.”
