“Fleur de l’Age”: the ripening of Mon Doux Saigneur
After the critical success of the first album, then the critical success of the second, Mon Doux Saigneur is back today with Fleur de l'Âge, a third album by folk rock interspersed with country even more mature and melodious than his excellent first efforts.
Despite the refinement of the sound, Emerik St-Cyr Labbé's poetry remains very simple, dealing with normal subjects, at the height of 'human. She finds her beauty precisely in her candor, her modesty. His texts, in dialogue mode, sung in “I”, “you”, and “we”, create a pleasant and benevolent closeness.
It is therefore easy to be lulled by this soft and comforting music .
