Forena-style freshness

Förena-style freshness

The menu at the Cité thermale Förena is entirely inspired by Quebec terroir.

The Cité thermale Förena, located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, is offering a new tasting menu this summer made exclusively from local Quebec products and above all with one main ingredient: freshness!

The Förena menu is scalable and changes over the months. For the hot season, lightness prevails. In particular, you can enjoy an asparagus and sorrel starter, a mushroom cake or a halibut gravlax. And in each of these dishes, the gastronomic richness of the province is highlighted and the local ingredients are sublimated.

Our favorites at Förena: the Gaspésie lobster tartine and the arctic char tartare, both fresh, generous and tasty!

An invitation to travel

“Chef Karina Morel-Maltauro is inspired by her travels and the culinary traditions of the places she has visited to that each bite is a journey in itself”, we say.

The menu thus echoes the three worlds found at the spa, whose thermal facilities are inspired by Iceland, Russia and Germany. It’s indeed three different experiences that one can live there, in the spirit of distinct traditions. To complete the trip and relax even more, several sensory activities are organized every hour, sometimes meditation, sometimes stretching.
