Gunfire in NDG: three arrests
Police officers arrested three men suspected of firing shots at a residential building in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district on 3 last November.
Police officers from the West Criminal Investigations Section of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) believe that the shootings were carried out by only one of the three individuals, under the age of 18 years.
The suspect who cannot be identified due to his age is charged with conspiracy and death threats. He will remain in prison for further legal proceedings. He may also face charges related to the use of a firearm. & Nbsp;
The other two men have been released. At the moment, they are not facing any charges. The investigation will show whether they acted as accomplices. The shooting left no casualties.
The three individuals are believed to have opened fire five times on the night of November 3 at around 12:30 am. Police officers arrived shortly after the scene found shell casings on the ground as well as the impacts of projectiles on the facade of the building.
The investigation which led to the tracing of the suspects led to three searches of the building. Greater Montreal.
