Hit by a car, a man 70 years of age succumbs to his injuries
A man of 70 years old has suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car Thursday night, on the road to the River to Lévis. His death has unfortunately been found Friday, in the hospital.
The policemen of Lévis were called to the scene of the accident at 19: 26, Thursday. The collision occurred near 4222 route of the Rivers, in the sector of Saint-Étienne.
“The police have understood that a vehicle had run over a person. The man had a heavy bleeding, the maneuvers of resuscitation have been made, and the man was transported to a hospital,” says the spokesperson for the Service de police de Lévis, Jean-Sebastian Levan.
The man unfortunately died of his wounds Friday, in the morning.
The two people aboard the vehicle remained on scene and assisted the victim until the arrival of emergency services.
Mr. Levan also indicates that there is no criminal investigation. “Everything leads us to believe that this would be an accident, linked among other to the visibility in the sector, there is not much light.”
A technician in forensic identification and an investigator of the Sûreté du Québec moved to the scene of the accident Thursday to analyze the scene, up to 22 h.
