De l’ improvisation in tribute to Jean-Marc Vallée

The Théâtre de la league nationale d'improvisation (LNI) will pay tribute to the late director Jean-Marc Vallée, who died on December 25, at through an improvisation show.

The show, which will take place on November 17 at 8 p.m. at the Outremont Theater, promises short improvisations centered on the theme of the work of Jean-Marc Vallée, but also a final improvisation of 30 minutes where it will be a question of improvising a work that could have come out of the imagination of the director, the one who is notably behind the film C.R.A.Z.Y.

Everything will be done in a staging of François-Étienne Paré, conducted by Geneviève Albert and performed by LeLouis Courchesne, Salomé Corbo and Mathieu Lepage.

“We will dare this dizzying dive, which for us has become a form of ’tribute to this creator who revolutionized the art of shooting films and series by allowing himself to breathe with his actors and focusing on the game, the emotions. His integration of music is also very inspiring,” said the artistic director of the LNI, François-Étienne Paré, as transmitted by press release.
