To help Quebecers cope with inflation, the government will cap Hydro-Québec rates. A bill to this effect was tabled by the Minister of the Economy Pierre Fitzgibbon on Friday.
Under this new bill, Hydro-Québec rate increases would follow inflation, but would be limited to 3%.
