Karkwa returns with first song in 13 years
Quebec rock band Karkwa is releasing a new song titled Perfect on the Screen, a first since the launch of their last album, Les chemins de verre, in 2010. Offered exclusively on the Auditive Canal website, it is accompanied by a music video starring Pascale Bussières.
The group, composed of Louis-Jean Cormier, François Lafontaine, Julien Sagot, Stéphane Bergeron and Martin Lamontagne, offers the public new sounds while maintaining its rock personality. The musical group had been on indefinite hiatus since December 2011.
Karkwa notably received four Félix awards at the Gala de l’ADISQ in 2008 for his third album entitled Le volume du vent , either group of the year, author or composer of the year, music video of the year for Escape from fate and alternative album of the year.
The song < em>Perfect on Screen will be available on online listening platforms from midnight on May 18.
