Kristopher Letang suffers a second stroke
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kristopher Letang has suffered a stroke and will be out of action indefinitely.
The Penguins defenseman had contacted one of the team’s coaches to report migraines and tell him that “something is wrong”. At that point, the team’s chief medical officer told him to head to the hospital immediately, where tests revealed that he had suffered a stroke.
Kristopher Letang will continue to undergo medical treatment. tests for the next few weeks and will remain out of play until he receives the all-clear from the medical team.
