Krystel Mongeau wins the 2022 edition of “Star Académie”
Krystel Mongeau was voted big winner of “Star Académie” 2022.
L’Estrienne Krystel Mongeau won the 2022 edition of Star Académie on Sunday evening. The 25-year-old professional hairdresser created a surprise by triumphing over the young 16-year-old academician Éloi Cummings at the end of the reality TV show broadcast on TVA.
Krystel won over the viewers. trice.s performing I'm just a songby Ginette Reno. The one who is the mother of a two-year-old girl is a regular on reality TV and singing competitions. She participated in the fourth season of the youth show Mixmania and La voix 6 in Lara Fabian's team.

The winner wins a grand prize of $125,000 and a musical contract with Musicor, while Éloi pockets a sum of $50,000. The public was numerous to vote since a record in the history of Star Académie was broken, announced the host Marc Dupré to the finalists.
A favorite of the public since the beginning of the adventure, Éloi chose to sing Quand les hommes vivront d'amourby Raymond Lévesque. With this song, the young man said he wanted to “send a message of love”.

The Star Académie final opened with a tribute to hockey legend Guy Lafleur who died of cancer at age 70 on Friday of the lung.
The Director of the Academy, Lara Fabian, and Professor Grégory Charles took turns sharing the stage with the academicians. The cohort also danced to traditional Dirtybeard music in a festive number.
