For thrill seekers: La Ronde amusement park opens its doors on Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For the occasion, the shuttles of the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) traveling from the Jean-Drapeau metro station to the amusement park will be back tomorrow, for all weekends until the end of of summer.
In addition, La Ronde is the only park of the firmSix Flags to be accessible by metro. A particularity that allows it to be closer to millions of Montrealers. Indeed, according to the company's website, La Ronde welcomes 28 million visitors a year.
This winter, La Ronde was still looking to recruit 1,000 employees aged 15 and over, in anticipation of the summer season. This spring, open days were organized with the aim of accelerating this recruitment. The organization had not responded to questions from Métro about whether the right number of seasonal workers had been hired at the time of this writing.
