Launch of the Canada Summer Jobs 2023 program

Employers wishing to receive benefits for the program have until January 12, 2023 to submit an application.

The Canada Summer Jobs 2023 program, which targets employers wishing to receive funding from the federal government to hire staff for the summer season, was launched on December 5. The application is made electronically, on the federal platforms.

Non-profit organizations and public and private sector employers with a maximum of 50 full-time employees have until January 12 to submit an application for funding in order to receive benefits offered by the federal program. Full-time jobs will be offered starting in April 2023.
