Lionel-Groulx College: the suspect has been identified

The Régie de Police Thérèse-de Blainville (RIPTB) confirms the identification of the suspect who was observed yesterday in the Collège Lionel-Groulx sector. The underage individual reportedly wandered the streets near the college with an object resembling a long gun. It was actually a toy gun that would have frightened some citizens of the neighborhood.

It is also confirmed that the person never entered the premises of the establishment.

The suspect is currently meeting with investigators and “offers his full cooperation”, says the RIPTB in a press release.
