Julie Ringuette and Pascal Morrissette walked the Gemini Awards red carpet together.

Environment and fashion don’t always mix. In this spirit, several artists who walked the red carpet of the 37th Gémeaux Awards have opted for a more eco-responsible approach than in the past, choosing to borrow clothes, finding them in thrift stores or bringing back pieces already in the wardrobe.

Local fashion has also stood out, since many personalities have chosen to encourage local designers, just to make them shine. Which names came up most often? Yasmine Wasfy from Boutique Lustre, a brand seen on Josée Deschênes and Gabrielle Fontaine, as well as Anomal Couture, worn by Hélène Bourgeois-Leclerc, Julie Ringuette and Émily Bégin.
