The Soif de Cidre Montréal meeting will take place face-to-face, outdoors, from July 15 to 17 at Lachine Canal Park.

The Soif de Cidre Montréal meeting will take place face-to-face, outdoors, from July 15 to 17 at Lachine Canal Park. We will be able to meet more than 30 cider makers from all over Quebec who will talk about their products in all their facets.

The festivities will begin this Friday, presented by the Société des alcools du Québec and organized by the Producers of ciders of Quebec.  

And this is not their first event of its kind . These enthusiasts organize this annual meeting – previously called Mondial des cidres – for 15 years.  

Here are some on-site activities: 

< strong>Bistro SAQ Thirst for discovery 

This bistro will serve three good juices from the same category created by different cider makers with the aim of discovering the subtleties of the beverage. For example, you can taste three rosé, sparkling or ice ciders. 

The SAQ Soif de pommes area 

Sparkling ciders and cocktails tasty will be served in this refreshment area. Come and discover the possible marriages between ciders and spirits, juices and other magical ingredients.  

Evening Etanche ta soif 

From Saturday 5 p.m., come and celebrate, sparkling ciders and cocktails made by mixologists, in a festive atmosphere.  

Espace Mocktails Éduc'alcool 

If you are the type without alcohol or have a curiosity to taste what a mixologist can offer you in the category moderation tastes much better, stop by this kiosk which will know how to hydrate you in a different way. 

Restaurant areas

During the weekend, you can accompany your thirst with quick, creative and refined food menus. There will be the grocery store Urbaine Masson and Fromages amour et tradition which will prepare grilled-cheese, Milo & Fine > will serve a wide variety of pancakes and Poutine Factory will be there to serve you several kinds of poutines.  

OFF Cidre 

Throughout the festivities, participating merchants from the Griffintown district will showcase their alcoholic apple juice from Quebec. On the menu ; meeting with guest cider makers on site, food and cider pairings and thematic signature cocktails.
