Maripier Morin will host a daily radio show
Maripier Morin on the show “The other noon at the table next door”.
Maripier Morin is back in the media and will host a daily radio show on the morning airwaves of WKND 99.5. She joins the On part ça d’even! team, along with Patrick Langlois and Vincent Dessureault.
She will take on the role of host from August 21, weekday mornings between 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
“It is with openness, vulnerability and sincerity that I will take on this new challenge and I feel privileged to do so within such a great team”, maintains Maripier Morin. Remember that she had been dismissed from the media scene, among other things, for having bitten Safia Nolin, an act then condemned in the wave of the #MeToo movement.
“We are among those who believe in the rehabilitation process. She worked hard to resolve her issues and to grow through this process. We followed her journey and found that she seriously undertook and accomplished a complete process proving to us that she deserves a second chance”, justifies the director of programming of WKND, Benoit Simard.
The programming director adds that participating in Maripier Morin's return to the airwaves is “a choice that is part of the audacious and avant-garde movement that has forged WKND's identity”.
