Mayor Valérie Plante pushes the song
The Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, took her April Fool's Day hoax even further. The one who had (falsely) announced on April 1 that she was getting into music with the release of an album paying homage to the metropolis even recorded one of the songs.
Among the false song titles that appeared on the opus included covers such as I Lost My Bagel and Bye Bye Mon Cône Orange.
At the request of cultural journalist Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau, Valérie Plante agreed to record an excerpt from the song I Lost My Bagel, which was broadcast onTout un matin d’ICI Premiere and published on the show’s Instagram page.
