Montreal, second most disappointing Canadian city
Rather surprising and to say the least unusual podium for the metropolis… Montreal would be the second most disappointing city in Canada, according to a recent ranking published by the British firm of independent analysts King Casino Bonus.
The study, which places Toronto at the top of the dismal charts, is based on a compilation of online reviews, including from sites like TripAdvisor.
“By analyzing reviews on popular online review sites, experts were able to calculate the odds to be disappointed”, details the firm of the United Kingdom.
Thus, 10.3% of visitors would declare themselves dissatisfied after their visit to the city of a hundred steeples. The Montreal Biodôme was judged by travelers as the most disappointing attraction.
In Toronto, 10.9% of travelers say they are disenchanted following their visit to the big Ontario city. If it’s the Biodôme that generates frustration in Montreal, in Toronto, it’s the zoo that fails to meet expectations.
Vancouver is in third place on this podium of defeat; 9.3% of visitors say they are dissatisfied with their stay, being particularly disappointed with the Gastown district.
