Montreal will enjoy a new erotic festival
There are no taboos on the menu of the Festival Jouissif, a new event on erotic art scheduled at Bain Mathieu from June 17 to 18.
This new festival, created by two friends, aims to be a respectful, open, inclusive and consensual space to allow the public to discover erotic art in many forms.
During the weekend of the festival, some forty artists and exhibitors will be on site, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., to present their art and their products. You can, with a glass in your hand if you feel like it, gaze at paintings, illustrations, photos, leather work and even ceramic dildos. Workshops and meetings are also on the program.
Saturday evening, place for sexy festivities: burlesque performances, drag queens and drag kings, space to dance to the music of DJ Sam (who we know for the Queen and Queer evenings) and surprises await you.
“We wanted an inclusive and open place in Montreal, explain the organizers in a press release. s Nadia Cardin, who comes from the event industry, and Alexis Genta, who is a visual artist. We wanted to get our hands dirty and mobilize to promote and above all celebrate erotic art together.”
