Nearly 190,000 Montrealers still without electricity
Nearly 295,000 Hydro-Québec customers were still without power Saturday morning across the province, three days after a major ice storm hit.
The Montreal region remains the hardest hit, with a total of 192,000 homes without electricity. The Laval region has the second highest concentration of disconnected customers (29,000), followed by the Outaouais (28,000), according to the state-owned company's website.
In the field , 1,400 Hydro-Québec employees are working to restore the situation. A press briefing will be held on Saturday morning at 9am.
