New Health Shuttle ; from the STM: launch tomorrow

Tomorrow, Monday, January 16, the new Health Services Shuttle will make its first trips on the Société de Transport de Montréal (STM) network. Called 811, this line was created to facilitate access to health care facilities located in eastern Montreal.

From Monday to Friday, the Shuttle will make a circular route every 20 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes off peak. It will run between the Radisson station and several healthcare centers in Nouveau-Rosemont.

“In order to facilitate access to certain health centers, the Société de transport de Montréal, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and the Ministry of Health and Social Services, will set up the 811 – Navette services santé,” announced the STM.

The bus will connect the Radisson, Langelier, Cadillac and Assomption metro stations to the many hospitals located between Lacordaire and Viau boulevards.

< p>The 811 will pass directly in front of 9 targeted health care establishments, namely Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, CHSLD Marie-Rollet, Montreal Heart Institute, Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Center, the CHSLD Dante, the Polish CHSLD Marie-Curie-Sklodowska, the Santa Cabrini hospital, the Cabrini polyclinic and the accommodation center of La Maison-Saint-Joseph.

The total travel time of the Shuttle is estimated at 45-50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
