A winter market filled with local creations

Holiday markets are multiplying in this pre-Christmas period. In the lot, our choice stops at the Livart winter market, which showcases the work of Montreal artists, artisans and designers.

This is an excellent opportunity to purchase delicate and refined local creations to offer as a gift or to keep for yourself.

Among the 15 designer companies, let us note, among others, the presence of the magnificent vases of Verre d'Onge, the original jewelry of Coming Age or the superb inclusive clothing of the lachapelle atelier.

The opening night will be held on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. In particular, it will be possible to taste the spirits of Menaud, Drav, Symbioses Vins and Mate Libre.

The market will continue Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Melody of Happiness at the Théâtre St-Denis

The show The Melody of Happiness by Gregory Charles is presented on the boards of the Théâtre St-Denis.

In all, 25 performers and dancers, plus an orchestra of 10 musicians, bring to life the original Broadway musical The Sound of Music in 1959, then adapted to the cinema in 1965, in a grandiose spectacle tinged with modernity.

Performances are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
