Pastry chef Patrice Demers in residence in New York
Sommelier Marie-Josée Beaudoin and pastry chef Patrice Demers will be in New York this spring.
A year after the closure of Patrice Pâtissier, their gourmet counter in Little Burgundy, pastry chef Patrice Demers and sommelier Marie-Josée Beaudoin are resurfacing… At New York! The couple of enthusiasts will share the kitchen and dining room of the restaurant Fulgurances Laundromat for a residency of several weeks.
After being invited by the New York restaurant last fall for a “truly incredible” first evening, the pastry chef announced on Wednesday that he will soon return there for a longer residency. “In exactly one month we will return to our favorite city for a 7-week residency, from May 2 to June 17, at [Fulgurances Laudromat],” he wrote on Instagram.

Indeed, the establishment located in the Greenpoint district of Brooklyn, has a habit of welcoming chefs in residence for an ever-changing culinary experience. It will therefore be the turn of the Quebec pastry chef who already seems to be delighted to “sign the entire menu and collaborate with the formidable Fulgurances team”.
His business and life partner, the sommelier Marie-Josée Beaudoin will also be there to “share [their] passion and [their] vision of catering to New Yorkers,” says Patrice Demers.
Reservations will be available one month in advance.
