Plateau-Mont-Royal: a building under construction destroyed by flames
A major fire destroyed a building under construction last night in the borough of Plateau-Mont- Royal, at the corner of rue Saint-Dominique and rue Napoléon.
The blaze broke out around 12:30 p.m. and required the mobilization of 110 firefighters and around 50 vehicles.
“A large security perimeter was established during the night to allow firefighters to control the fire”, explains Julien Lévesque, media relations officer at the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal was on the scene to ensure control traffic.
There were no injuries as a result of this disaster and an investigation was opened to determine the causes.
