Possible drowning: the search continues in the St. Lawrence River

A person has been missing since Friday afternoon in the waters of the St. Lawrence River near the Jacques-Cartier wharf, in the Old Montreal area. It could be a possible drowning.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) indicates that the victim is a man whose identity is still unknown. The search will resume on Saturday afternoon, specifies Raphaël Bergeron, public relations agent at the SPVM.

According to the various testimonies, the man would have sunk quickly in the waters, report the police.
