Poutine Week back for two weeks
La Semaine de la Poutine will be back in an extended version this year for its 11th edition which will be held from February 1 to 14. For not one, but two weeks, you will be able to discover original poutines from local restaurants.
This festival, which does not only take place in Montreal, but across Canada with more than 500 restaurants participants, aims to make delicious discoveries for foodies across the country while supporting the local restaurant industry.
Who will make the best poutine?
Each participating restaurant will create a unique poutine that they will present to the public especially for the occasion. Everyone will then be able to share their experience on social media and vote for their favorite dish using the La Semaine de la Poutine website. “The results will be highlighted on the website's leaderboard, where users will be able to see the top five restaurants in real time,” reads the event's press release.
