QS MPs will donate their $400 check
All Québec solidaire (QS) MPs will donate their $400 tax credit to organizations in their constituency,” the party's parliamentary leader, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, announced today.
“For some, it will be food banks, for others, homeless organizations, for others, perhaps organizations that help families in poverty,” said the parliamentary leader in a press briefing.

The solidarity deputies will thus follow the example from the Liberal MP for Mount-Royal–Outremont, Michelle Setlakwe.
“I received $600. As in the spring, I will donate [the money] to MultiCaf which helps the most vulnerable in my constituency. Is it so complicated to take family income into account?! It is frankly shocking to see the CAQ miss the mark,” she said in a message published last Monday on social networks.
