Quebec Games: many medals for Montreal
It’s Saturday that the 56th Final of the Quebec Games ended in Rivière-du-Loup. Since the kickoff of the event on March 3, the city of Bas-Saint-Laurent has vibrated to the rhythm of competition and the exploits of young athletes from all over Quebec.

Athletes from the Lac-Saint-Louis region came first in the Montreal delegation with a total of 14 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 15 bronze medals. The biggest gains were made in fencing with 7 medals won, as well as in trampoline (6), gymnastics (6) and speed skating (6).
As for the region of Montreal, the athletes won 13 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 19 bronze medals. It’s in judo that Montrealers shone the most, winning a total of 9 medals, followed by gymnastics (7) and weightlifting (6).
Teams from the Bourrassa region won 3 medals, including a gold medal in figure skating, as well as silver and bronze in judo.
