People had waited so long for this Final, that they turned out in droves, every day, to all the sites”, rejoiced the general manager of the Organizing Committee of the 56th Final of the Quebec Games, Karine Malenfant. , during the closing ceremony.

Review of performances

Athletes from the Lac-Saint-Louis region came first in the Montreal delegation with a total of 14 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 15 bronze medals. The biggest gains were made in fencing with 7 medals won, as well as in trampoline (6), gymnastics (6) and speed skating (6).

As for the region of Montreal, the athletes won 13 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 19 bronze medals. It’s in judo that Montrealers shone the most, winning a total of 9 medals, followed by gymnastics (7) and weightlifting (6).

Teams from the Bourrassa region won 3 medals, including a gold medal in figure skating, as well as silver and bronze in judo.
