Releasing a vehicle: easier online, says the SAAQ
The SAAQ invites motorcycle owners, as well as ATVs and RVs, to register on its digital platform in anticipation of the disposal of their vehicle.
Convertible, motorcycle, recreational vehicle… Citizens who wish to remove storage from a stored vehicle, in view of the arrival of fine weather, can carry out this operation on the SAAQclic site.
This is the best method and the “shortest way to undertake this process, indicates the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ).
Nearly 120,000 customers will release their vehicle during the month of May, according to SAAQ estimates. The Société recommends that road users use its website in order to “avoid the high traffic in branches during this period”.
Already 73,000 vehicle storages have been carried out through of the SAAQclic platform, i.e. 6,000 more than last year on the same date, calculates the SAAQ.
Approximately 1.8 million customers have been served across the province since the launch of SAAQclic, despite hiccups in the weeks following the inauguration of the service.
“In order to serve our customers well, our teams carry out continuous monitoring in order to support customers who may encounter difficulties during their transaction with the SAAQ,” says the SAAQ.
