Road exit fatal to Lévis
A man of about sixty years died Friday evening in a violent exit from the road to Levis. The loss of control would be related to weather conditions.
Three people were aboard the vehicle. It is the driver that has not survived; his death was recorded on the scene by first responders. The other two passengers suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital, no one fears, however, not for their lives.
The accident involved one car and occurred at about 17: 15 on the rue Pierre-Beaumont. According to the police of Levis, it seems that the weather has caused the loss of control of the driver, the road being very slippery due to the freezing rain fell throughout the day. An investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the event.
The car was in the ditch and on the roof at the arrival of the emergency services. The firemen had to pull the victims out of the vehicle. A man in the car behind the group of three people contacted the police after the accident.
